As a therapist, Jo is deeply passionate about the power of therapy. Jo loves seeing clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and work towards their own version of recovery - whatever that may look like for them. Her work with individuals has inspired her to share these insights with a wider audience.
Jo wants to make therapeutic knowledge more accessible - to those who may not yet feel ready for therapy, those who may not be able to afford it, and those facing long waitlists. While the resources in the Hub are designed to help you build self-awareness and better understand yourself, they are not a replacement for therapy or the unique relationship and learning experience it can provide. Think of the Hub as a prequel to therapy, a stepping stone towards deeper self-exploration or as reassurance and insight alongside your therapy.
Although Jo is a therapist, she doesn't claim to be an expert on you - only you have that expertise. Jo's training and experience allow her to share useful insights, but your ability to absorb, reflect, and empower yourself is limitless. These resources are here to give you a gentle nudge whenever you need a little extra support.
Jo hopes these resources offer a helping hand to as many people as possible.
Thank you for exploring our resources, joining The Friday Pause newsletter, and investing in yourself. We are honoured to be a small part of your journey towards self-understanding, self-care and better emotional health.
Your experience matters too! If Jo’s Therapy Hub has helped you, we'd love to hear your story.
"I found the tracker really helped me to identify patterns in my anxiety and links between my emotions and physical sensations. Taking the time at the end of each day to complete the tracker made me more self-aware and the process of sitting with my anxiety became more comfortable with practice. The weekly summary allowed me space to reflect which isn't something I'd normally do so it felt positive for me to invest time in myself."
